This was my first time taking photos of my sweet friend Julie, who hasn't had her portrait taken in a while. To make her feel comfortable, our friend Brigid stood behind me cheering her on, telling her to "look into the sea longingly for her lost lover" and to "be an ocean ghost, haunting Sound Beach." In between outtakes of laughter, she proved to be quite a natural ocean ghost after all.
